Atom AE-- Started their quest for an OMHA title in a round robin against Georgina and Stouffville. They won that by one point. Next up in the quarters they faced the Peterborough Petes (Maroon). They won that series 3 games to 1. That victory let them into the semis against the Whitby Wildcats. We won the coin toss so we have home ice (way to go ice scheduler!!). Game one is Feb-23, 7:00pm NTRC 1.

Minor Bantam AE-- In the prelims they took out Aurora in 3 games. Their quarter final match up was against Barrie 1 White, the first placed team in the regular season and a team they failed to beat in 5 tries. In 4 hard fought games that included 2 OT wins the young men of Minor Bantam AE were victorious. Next up is the Peterborough Petes. The Petes
have home ice. Game 1 was last night (Feb-19) and ended in a 3-3 tie. TNT was down 2 to 0 and battled to take the lead 3-2, with 41 seconds left the Petes scored the tying goal. The OT period saw no goals. These two teams have a history as they played each other three times in a tournament earlier in the season. The Petes won twice and TNT once.

Minor Midget AA-- The OMHA preliminaries was a round robin against Richmond Hill and Newmarket. Our boys won that by two points. Next up were the Barrie Colts, the first place team in the division. Did Barrie come into this series confident? No. They only lost 3 games all season and 2 of those losses were against TNT, they new they were in tough. TNT took the first two games with shutout wins, Barrie took the third game 4-3.....and then we slammed the door!!! Game four was another shutout win, 3-0 for the good guys. Congratulations to this TNT team that thwarted the Colts from winning their fifth consecutive OMHA championship.

Go TNT Go!!
