The OMHA’s Vaccination Policy will end and is not expected to be in effect for next season
OHF announced the removal of its COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for the 22-23 season which begins at the start of spring evaluations on April 25. The OMHA’s Vaccination Policy will also end and is not expected to be in effect for next season.

Effective the end of the 2021-22 season, the Ontario Hockey Federation has announced the removal of its OHF COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for the 2022-23 hockey season. The 2022-23 season begins with the start of spring evaluations on April 25, 2022.

The OMHA’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for the 2021-22 season will also come to an end at the start of spring tryouts and at this point is not expected to be in effect for the 2022-23 season. As we’ve seen over the last two seasons, this comes with an understanding that this guidance may change over the coming months as the COVID-19 situation can still evolve.

It is still strongly encouraged that all participants who are eligible to be vaccinated do so.

We will continue to follow the direction of the Government of Ontario’s Public Health guidelines. As we’ve seen over the last two seasons, this comes with an understanding that this guidance may change over the coming months as the COVID-19 situation can still evolve.

All programs, regardless of size or level, are ultimately required to adhere to all public health, municipal and facility policies, and directives, if more restrictive than the current provincial guideline.
