While we did post yesterday about our U13 AA team winning the OMHA tournament, we want to give a bit more information on how amazing their season has been.
The team won Five, yes FIVE tournaments.
- TNT Pre Season tournament, Alliston
- Silver Stick Regional, Georgina
- LECOM AAA Harborcenter Cup, Buffalo
- Georgian Communities Winter Classic, Barrie
- OMHA Championship, Whitby
After two years of heartbreak, falling just short in the OMHA championship finals, the U13 AA TNT Team finally broke through and captured the title in dominant fashion.
The team posted a strong 2-0-1 record in round-robin play before facing adversity in the semifinal. They showed tremendous resilience and character, defeating the Oshawa Generals in a hard-fought overtime victory.
In the championship final, they delivered a commanding performance, dominating the Burlington Eagles to clinch the OMHA title.
The team now advances to the OHF Championships in Sudbury, beginning April 17.
Great job to the coaches and players and they are not done yet!!
