The TNT AA Midgets are picking up steam as they move through the 2015 OMHA Playdowns.
After finishing 2nd to the Aurora Tigers in the league standings, it is worthy of mention that the 2014-15 proved to be statistically appealing on many counts.

Over 26 regular season games, TNT allowed a league low 40 goals against, an impressive 1.54 goals against average.
In 21 of their games this season, TNT allowed two or fewer goals, six of which were shutouts.
When allowing 2 or fewer goals per game TNT is a tidy 18-2-1.
Both Sean Caulfield and Adam Gleeson finished with a GAA under 2.00.

As the 2nd place seed, TNT would face Newmarket as their first round opponent.

Game #1 - TNT win 6-0
Game #2 - TNT loss 3-0
Game #3 - Tie 1-1
Game #4 - TNT win 6-2
Game #5 - TNT win 3-0

Aurora Tigers would prove to be the second round matchup after Aurora dispatched Georgina  6pts - 0.

After two games in the series, TNT has a 4pts - 0 advantage with Game #3 being played in Aurora on Sunday, February 15th.  Game #4 if necessary will be at NTRC 1 at 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 17th.

In other series.

Pickering v Ajax
Halton Hills v Brampton
Orangeville v Belle River

The winner of the TNT v Aurora series will play in the OMHA Semi Finals against the winner of Pickering v Ajax.

Should TNT advance, it would mark the second time in two years that the TNT Midget AA has made it into the OMHA Final Four.
