TNT Midget AA Sweeps the Aurora Tigers
For the second consecutive year, TNT Midget AA have advanced to the OMHA Final Four.

TNT made short work of a very good Aurora Tigers team posting a second round series win 3-0.

TNT would advance with wins of 3-1, 3-2 and 4-1.

The Midgets continue to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to team defense.  So far throughout the playoffs, TNT has allowed only 10 goals in 8 playoff games, for a very shiny 1.25 goals against average.

Through 8 games, the Tornado Midgets have posted special teams numbers of 88% on the penalty kill and 20% success on the powerplay.  TNT currently carries a playoff win - loss - tie record of 6-1-1.

The TNT Midgets will spend the next week in preparation mode as they await the winner of the Ajax v Pickering series.

The last local Midget team (Alliston /TNT) to win an OMHA title occurred in 1977.  Thirty-eight years ago, the Alliston Blades defeated the Listowel Cyclones to capture the OMHA Championship.

TNT head coach, Scott Hutchinson, was in the stands as a 9 year-old watching his father Terry help lead that team to victory.  The 2015 Midgets are half way to reaching their goal.
