Massive REP Playdown Update
Submitted By Webmaster on Monday, February 23, 2015
Every REP team is covered in this update.

Tyke MD (aka Select 7)—This round robin series seems to have started back in October, Jan-25th actually. They have one game left on the 28th, their current record is 2 and 5.

Novice AA – They are in their second round robin series, this time against Stouffville Clippers and the Aurora Tigers. Game 1 is tonight in Stouffville. Overall record is 1 and 5.

Novice AE—Still in the hunt for an OMHA championship. Next up is the Markham Waxers. Overall record is 3 and 8.

Minor Atom AA – Our boys were victorious yesterday in Barrie in an exciting game 6.  This team could be nicknamed the ‘Heart Attack’ kids after that series. Next up, Kingston…yeah, Kingston! Talk about your road trips. We have home ice thanks to another coin toss victory (our ice scheduler is 4 and 1 in those btw). First game will be at the NTRC on Feb-28. Overall record is 6-2-1.

Minor Atom AE – Currently sticking it to the Newmarket Redmen in this York Simcoe series. We are up 2 games to none. Game 3 on Feb-27, Tottenham, 7:30pm. Overall record is 2 and 3.

Atom AA – In a round robin with Barrie and Orillia. Shows here on the map that Orillia is even farther north than Barrie.  Must be some cold rinks up there. Bring your blankets! Overall record is 1-4-4, these guys love ties and not the ones you put around your neck.

Atom AE – After dispatching the Stoney Creek Warriors in four games they will take on the Whitby Wildcats in an OMHA semi-final. They have stellar overall record at  7 and 1.

Minor Peewee AA – Up 1 game against Newmarket in this YSMHL series. Game 2 is on Feb-25 at NTRC 1, 7:00pm. Overall record is 4 and 3.

Minor Pewee AE—in tough against the Redmen, down 2 games. Pivotal game on Feb-24 at the Nottawasaga, 7:30pm. Let’s get out there and cheer them on. Overall record is 2 and 5.

Peewee AA—These guys have played a lot of hockey so far this playoff season, 10 games. They are at .500 with a 5 and 5 record. Currently in a YS series with Nobleking…current record 1 and 1…again .500. I love consistency.

Minor Bantam AA – Currently in a York Simcoe round robin series.  Overall record is 3 and 6.

Minor Bantam AE – These Tornados played in one Hell of a game 6 yesterday, played their hearts out. Unfortunately they came up one goal short and lost the series to a very tough Barrie squad. Overall record is 5-5-1.

Bantam AA – Currently in an OMHA series with the Barrie Colts. Dead locked at 2 games each. Game 5 tonight in Barrie. Good luck guys. Overall record is 5 and 4.

Bantam AE –Unfortunately Bantam AE lost their series against the Petes. We took them to the wire in five games losing the last one, 3 to 2.  Overall record is 5-5-1.

Minor Midget AA – Currently up 2 games to none in a series against the Colts. Game 3 is on Feb-26th in Barrie. Do I hear some sweeping? Overall record is a solid 6 and 2.

Minor Midget AE – Going strong in the OMHA playdowns. Next up is the Orangeville Flyers. Game one is on Feb-28th, 3:30pm at the NTRC. Another good overall record, 7-2-1.

Midget AA – Kicked some serious butt on Sunday beating the Ajax Knights 2 to 1 in this OMHA series. These boys have only lost once this playdown season. Overall record is 8-1-1, wow!!  If you come out and watch them take note of their special “third jersey”. It looks pretty sweet.

Midget AE—Next up for these young men are the Orangeville Flyers in an OMHA semi-final series. Overall record is 3-0-1.

Juvenile—Currently 2 and 2 in their OMHA round robin series. This team is putting on the miles. Game five is on March 1 at 4:00pm at the NTRC 1.

Note: I try to be as accurate as possible. The above is NOT official. For official scores, records, etc. please refer to the website. Thanks, Chuck.
