The TNT Tornados AA Midget squad continued their winning ways over the weekend with a Game 1 victory over the Ajax Knights in OMHA Semi Final action.
Ajax arrived at NTRC sporting a 6 game playoff winning streak. After dropping their first game to Oshawa in round one, Ajax rhymed off 3 consecutive wins to close out Oshawa 6pts to 2. In the OMHA Quarter Finals, the second seeded Ajax proved to be the better team by sweeping the highly touted Pickering Panthers in 3 games.
TNT will travel to Ajax on Saturday, February 28th for game 2. Puck drop is 4:10pm at the Ajax Community Centre.
