Bantam Question for 2015/2016 Season. Click here for more details.
Due to a recent ruling by the OMHA, TNT would like to conduct a poll.

Please take a moment to go to the home page, scroll down on the left hand side of the screen you will see the following question;

Should the Bantam division remain local league or should TNT run it as a House League for 2015/2016?

Bantam Survey

TNT Hockey Operations 2015/2016

For the past decade, our Bantam and higher age groups have competed in the Simcoe Region Local League, even though they register and pay fees to the TNT Minor Hockey Association.  A Local League is a grouping of centres in close proximity to each other, whom, by registration, cannot create a number of teams to run a viable in house program themselves.  By grouping together, a viable loop can be created offering the chance to play in a number of venues.  Our Local league partners include Schomberg, Thornton, Innisful, Nobleking, Bradford, Innisfil, Lefroy, and Oak Ridges.

Our Bantam division has been in a unique situation for the past few years.  We do have enough players to run an in house program, but have opted to remain in the Local League.  Limited travel and variety of competition have been factors affecting our decisions.

The OMHA has recently declared that all Body Checking will be removed from Recreational League Play effective this September.  This includes all Roster Select, MD (Minor Development) and Local League loops, all includes all age divisions.

For TNT, we are canvassing parents to determine whether or not we remain in the Simcoe Region Local Loop, or focus on developing an in house division for Bantams, assuming that we will register enough players for it to be viable.
