Happenings this Weekend
Read on to see what our teams are up to...

Tyke MD—Start their Division 2 Consolation championship series against Aurora on Saturday at 4:30pm, NTRC 1.  After starting their playoff run with a record of 1 and 5 they’ve turned it around to go 4 and 1 in the last 5 games.

Novice AE – OMHA finalist here!! Game one is on Saturday at the NTRC 1:00pm. Another turnaround story.  After losing their first 8 games in a row they have since gone 6 and 1!!

Minor PeeWee AE—Down by one game to the Colts. Game two tonight in Barrie. It’s Friday the 13th today…what does that mean? Could be many things but it will turn out unlucky for Barrie I’m sure.

PeeWee AE – Coach Blair texted me about 89 times this week updating me on his team. Personally I think it was to make sure I didn’t forget them again…well here you go Blair;  This team has won 2 out of 4 games in this round robin series against Newmarket and Georgina. If  TNT wins tomorrow they are in the finals against Aurora. Tomorrow’s game is at 1:00pm at the NTRC.  Part of me is dreading the next series…I gotta change my number!!  ;)

Minor Bantam AE--  Our guys are patiently waiting the winner of the series between Newmarket and Stouffville.  Currently the series is tied at a game apiece.  One of those teams will play us for the York Simcoe championship.

Bantam AE – In a four team round robin to see who plays Richmond Hill for the YS championship. Lots of games left here. TNT is currently sitting in second place, one point behind Georgina who they tied twice already. Georgina has one game left and TNT two. If TNT wins both their games they will play for the final. If they win one and tie one, they are still good. Any other combination confuses the heck outta me as there are 8 ties in this series. I’ll leave the other scenarios up to YSMHL to figure out.

Minor Midget AE – Our other OMHA finalist. Game one tomorrow against Whitby, puck drop is 2:30pm NTRC. TNT and Whitby finished the regular season 1 and 2 in the standings. Head to head  they are  1-1-1.  This series could be epic!!!!!!!

Good luck everyone.
