Peewee House League
Submitted By Webmaster on Sunday, March 22, 2015
There was an A final and a B final today. You couldn't ask for a better finish.

The B final was at 11:00am at NTRC1 and was between Team 1 Orange and Team 2 Teal. This game saw a few lead changes but was tied at the end of regulation. On to an 8 minute 4 on 4 overtime. After some back and forth action the game winning goal was scored.

Not to be out done the A final was just as thrilling. This game was between Team 3 The Avalanche and Team 4 The Blue Blazers. During the regular season these two teams battled hard against each other with The Avalanche barely winning the regular season series 3-3-2.  During the preliminaries they also played each other and tied. It was fitting that they faced each other in the final;
First Period- No Goals
Second Period- No Goals
Third Period- No Goals.
On to the first overtime. Yep, no goals!!! That's right, DOUBLE OVERTIME was needed to settle this titanic struggle. To make things more interesting it was 3 on 3 hockey.  After more back and forth, the winning goal was scored with only 1:11 remaining. What a game.

Congratulations to all the Peewee house league teams!!!
