Our youngest team travels to the 'Schwa for the annual Oshawa Hockeyfest Tournament. Little did they know they would topple a 95 year old NHL record.
The Round Robin started off against the Belleville Junior Bulls and couldn't have started off any better. 9 to 2 for our guys.
Game 2 was a bit harder and our team fell 6-1 to one of the home teams that would eventually be a finalist.
Game 3...here we go. The final??? 17 to 0 for the TNT Tornados!! What? That's not a typo folks!! The most goals scored in one game prior to that was in 1920 when the MONTREAL CANADIENS beat the Quebec Bulldogs 16 to 3.
That put our team into the semi finals. They faced the same team that beat them in the round robin. This time our top-notched coaching staff had our team raring to go. Unfortunately they couldn't take out Oshawa Generals Red and fell 3 to 1.
Well done team. GO TNT GO!!
