A Night of Rememberence for Al Dunkley
Submitted By Webmaster on Monday, December 14, 2015
The first Al Dunkley Memorial Midget game was contested on Saturday, December 12, with Midget team 1 beating Midget team 2,  6 - 2.

Prior to the game, members of the TNT Executive participated in a special ceremony, remembering the late Al Dunkley, coach and former member of the TNT Board.
Members of the Board shared their personal remembrances with the audience, and was highlighted by a speech from Hunter Veltri, one of the first players that Al coached.

Corrie, Al's wife, was called to centre ice where she was presented with a TNT jersey personalized with the number 1 and  name plate.  The new Al Dunkley Memorial Award, dedicated to Local League Midget players, was also unveiled.  Participating members of the TNT Board included Terry McDermott, John Cook, Mike Carr and Dan Reeves.  Our president, Donna Horan, was on hand to welcome Corrie and family to the arena.
