Game 5 Updates. We Have A Bunch of Them.
Submitted By Webmaster on Saturday, February 20, 2016
We have a bunch of game of fives to update you on. Some have been played and some coming up.
Both Rep and Local League are represented here.

Novice AE: Our team traveled to Orillia today to play a game 4 that was do or die. Well we came up on top with a solid 4 to 1 win. Game 5 is on Feb-21, NTRC 1.  I'm pretty sure I heard the horn on a couple of those goals!

Atom AE: They played game 4 today at the NTRC. At the end of regulation the game was tied 2 to 2...and that's after we were down by two goals at one point. On to a 10 minute overtime period that saw no goals. Game 5 is on Feb-21 at Centre-Wellington in Elora, 2:00pm. We gotta win it.

Atom AA: We got some good news and some bad news. First the good...TNT won 2 to 1. Now the bad...the game went into OT, stressing the living heck out of these parents (and me too!) even more. And I am darn sure the heart attack kids are in cahoots!!!  Letting Barrie tie it up in the final minutes AND THEN needing less than 30 seconds to net the OT winner!! C'mon gotta be something going on here!!  ;)

Minor Midget AE: Coach Rob has had to deal with some stress of his own. These guys came out winning the first 2 games 4 to 2 and 3 to 1. The next two...not so good, both were losses with a combined score of 11 to 0!! Game five was last night in Barrie and the stress mounted early, the boys fell behind but rallied defending against two 5 on 3s and tying it up to force an OT period. The team played their you know whats off and pulled out the victory!! The final score, 3 to 2 for the good guys. Nice come back team!!!

Bantam LL 2: A good story here. The Thornton Tigers (2) were the top team this year only losing 2 games, they were the top seed in the Group 1 Divison and TNT was the last. TNT lost
the first game which turned out to be their only loss of the series. The next two games were ties and games 4 and 5 were wins!! Congratulations to these young men on the victory!!!

Minor Midget LL 2: These guys have a tie, one loss and 2 wins. Game 5 is in Lefroy on Feb-21. If TNT ties or wins we will take the series.

Midget LL 2: The exact same results as Minor Midget LL 2 so these boys have a game 5 too, also tomorrow however they play in Richmond Hill...they also have to win it.

Congratulations and good luck to all our TNT teams.

With the unfortunate news that Simcoe-Muskoka health unit is moving back into Grey “lockdown” again as of Monday, March 1 we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the balance of the season.

We are very happy to announce that as of February 20, 2021 we will be resuming our season.  Since Simcoe Muskoka is in the “Red Zone”, there are many rules and changes required in order for us to return to the ice.
