TNT Rep Update
Submitted By TNT Ice Scheduler on Monday, February 29, 2016
All our Rep teams are updated below. Local League update to come later today.

Lots happened this weekend with many good games in the books.

As in previous articles the below comments are not official. Please follow the website schedule for matchups. If you spot an error, let me know.

Tyke MD- Our little guys are still looking for their first win of the playoffs. They had a good effort against Georgina yesterday but fell short. Their next game is against Aurora on March-2, 6:00pm at NTRC 1. Let’s go out and cheer them on!!

Novice AA- Knocked out Georgina yesterday 3 games to 1. Each game was decided by only one goal. They are waiting to see who they will face in the next round, it will be either Richmond Hill or Markham.

Novice AE- Doing great in the OMHAs. They won their series against Barrie in 3 games…it wasn’t easy though. All three games were decided by one goal. Game  3? A nail biter!! The Colts were up 1 to 0 in final minutes of the third period when Coach Adam pulled the TNT goalie for an extra attacker. With only 31 seconds left in the game our guys netted the tying goal. Off to OT. There was some serious hockey being played here. Luckily for the home squad they netted the winner with 3:36 left in the OT frame. Congratulations to the young Tornados. This win puts them into the Novice Central AE1 Final. It will be against either Brampton or Milton. Milton is up 2 games to 1, game 4 is tonight.

Minor Atom AA-  In a tough series with Georgian who finished first in the regular season. We are down two games to none with game 3 in Georgina Tuesday night.

Minor Atom AE-  Keeping things interesting in their round robin against Barrie and Richmond Hill. In a hard fought game yesterday against Barrie they ended up with a tie. Looking at the standings it appears they will face Aurora in the next round.

Atom AA- The Heart Attack Kids are playing some awesome hockey in their OMHA semi against the Whitby Wildcats. TNT has 2 wins and a tie which means we are up 5 points to 1. In usual fashion the team kept us on the edge of our seat waiting until 2:06 in the third to score the winner. What? No OT?? This affected the parents greatly as I did notice some of them walking around aimlessly saying  “what do we do now? The game was only three periods, what do we do?”.  I noticed some of them ended up at the Hornet’s Nest for post-game reverie, thanks goodness for that.

Atom AE- Battling hard in a round robin quarter series with Markham and Innisfil.  They have 2 games left, both against Innisfil. Looks like to me they have clinched a spot in the semis against Newmarket, the other two games have to be played though.

Minor Peewee AA- They have 2 more games to play in their round robin against Markham and Stouffville.  It’s been a tough go for these guys but as they say, “there is always next year”.

Minor Peewee AE- Took out Georgina in three games in a York Simcoe Quarter Final. The last 2 games were shutouts!  They will play either Newmarket or Markham in the semis. Most likely it will be Newmarket as they are leading the series 5 points to 1.

Peewee AA- Were in tough against a very determined Richmond Hill team. They lost in three games but all were close ones.

Peewee AE- Defeated Innisfil in 3 games. To the Winterhawks credit they played us very hard especially in the final game. Peewee AE is off to the York Simcoe semis against Barrie Blue and Markham.

Minor Bantam AA- Our young men ran in to a tough series against Stouffville. They fell in three games but it wasn’t easy for the Clippers. All three games were decided by one goal.

Minor Bantam AE-  We have a game 5 here folks!! Tomorrow night (March -1) at the Nott, pad 2, 7:30pm. Come out and get a seat early, seating is limited. This series is tied 2 games each.

Bantam AA- In a round robin with Stouffville and Aurora. So far the Tornados have two wins with two games to go putting them in first place in the series.

Bantam AE- Dispatched the Stars in three games. They will face either Aurora or Newmarket in the next round.

Minor Midget AA- After losing the first game of this series the team came together and won the next three. They are now in the York Simcoe semis and will face either Stouffville, Aurora or Newmarket.

Minor Midget AE- Our last OMHA participant. They are playing against a tough Peterborough Petes team and are down 2 games to none. Game 3 will be back home on Friday. These guys have staved off elimination before and will do it again!!

Midget AA- Looks like they will finish second in their round robin with Markham and Stouffville. That will put them into the semis.

Midget A- In a tough round robin with Barrie, Nobleking and Stouffville. They are looking for their first win in the series which should come Tuesday night in Stouffville. Good luck!!
