It came in the second game of the playoffs.
Well it took the Firehawks a while but they pulled out their first win in the post season, when it really counts!!
In a defensive affair (their coach is a goalie, much like Patrick Roy...'nuff said) they scored in the first period and then formed a defensive wall in front of their net-minder, earning him a shutout. The final was 1 to 0 for the Firehawks.
Coach Dave (a staunch Habs fan) was heard after the game saying "I knew they could do it, I'm so proud of the team".
Way to go guys...now let's keep it rolling!!
