Atom AA in the OMHA Finals
Submitted By Webmaster on Saturday, March 5, 2016

The road was filled with many an OT game for this team. Our boys (and Grace) were up 5 points to 1 over the Wildcats of Whitby. Game four was on Whitby's ice last night (Friday).

Our team only needed a tie to win it but of course they have to play the game. In typical Atom AA fashion the game went to OT as did two other games in this series. To keep everyone on the edge of their seats our team waited until 30 seconds left in the OT period to score the winning goal.

That puts the Heart Attack Kids against Milton in the OMHA finals. Our ice scheduler won the coin toss so game 1 is in the friendly confines of the NTRC on March 12 at 3:30pm.

Good luck to our team. It's been quite the ride; game fives, OT winners and many a close game!! Now it's time to bring it home!!!
