Peterborough Thanksgiving Tournament
Submitted By Webmaster on Monday, October 10, 2016
Minor Bantam AE had fantastic weekend of great hockey, teambuilding and a team Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday evening.

TNT faced the hosting team, the Peterborough Petes in finals. It was a fast paced hard hitting game that saw both teams come out to play. The Petes got out to a 2 to 0 lead. The coaches rallied the troops with the Tornados scoring to make it 2 to 1. With 2 minutes left in the third TNT pulled their goalie. The Petes scored an empty netter to make it 3 to 1.

Minor Bantam AE represented TNT well with good play and sportsmanship.

On Saturday night the entire team got together for a pot-luck Thanksgiving team dinner. The food was great and the conversations even better. The players were curfewed at 10:30, not so the parents... :)

Below are some pictures. The last one was of Dean singing a Johnny Cash song, I'm not sure which one it was but I know his favourite is "The Ring of Fire".

We are very happy to announce that as of February 20, 2021 we will be resuming our season.  Since Simcoe Muskoka is in the “Red Zone”, there are many rules and changes required in order for us to return to the ice.
