TNT Minor Atom AE Winners in Bradford!!!
Submitted By Webmaster on Sunday, October 16, 2016
A TRIPLE overtime thriller and the good guys came out on top.

First up were the Brantford 99ers on Friday morning. It was a squeaker with TNT coming out on top 1 to 0.
Next, with less then 3 hours rest we were back at it against the Caledon Hawks. Another tight one but our guys fell short this time with a 3 to 2 loss.
Game 3 was Saturday morning against the Warriors of Stratford. Yet another defensive tilt with Stratford taking this one 3 to 2.
Minor Atom AE finished the round robin 1 and 2. Off to the semis!!
It was a rematch against the 99ers, no problem...a few more goals scored this time but the same result. A win for our team and on to the finals.

Bright and early Sunday morning saw the kids jumping out of bed raring to go...the parents? Something tells me they weren't that 'raring' as the kids but everyone made it to the game anyway.  This game went to triple OT with only two skaters for each team on the ice in the third overtime period. The hockey dads and moms were loving it. One reporter over heard a mom say to her husband "It's OK Dave, I'll hold your hand during the OT, don't worry honey."
There was some good action, fast breaks and great saves in this intense, heart stopping finale. The best part? TNT WON!!! 3 to 2 over the Warriors.

Congratulations to this young team of dedicated players, coaches and parents.
