Big Win for TNT Tyke MD!!!
Submitted By Webmaster on Sunday, January 22, 2017
This past weekend the Tyke MD team played in the Curtis Joseph Invitational Tournament in Newmarket.

It was a rocky start with 2 loses, but the team pulled it together the next game with a shutout against Bradford.  We followed that with a 6-2 win over Ajax bringing us to the Ruby Championship where we played a nail biting game against Essex.

TNT was down 7-4 in the 3rd period but managed to tie the game up with just seconds left!!

Both teams played hard through the 1st OT leaving the score at 7-7

It was a full arena going into the 2nd OT and the crowd definitely got a show.  TNT played an amazing game beating Essex out in the end 8-7!!!

Congratulations to the players and coaches for a great tournament!!
