What a way to start the season!!  The TNT Atom AE team ventured to the big city of Orangeville to compete in the Orangeville Fall Classic on September 15th to 17th.

The team got off to a strong start with a 2-1 win over Halton Hills and a 4-1 over the Guelph Junior Griffins on day one of the competition.  An early Saturday morning brought on another win when the boys took over the Caledon Hawks 1-0.  The afternoon was time to re-face the team’s archrivals, the Barrie Junior Colts.  It was a tough game and unfortunately TNT finished with a 3-0 loss.
After a good night sleep the boys bounced back to a 3-1 semi-final win over the hometown Orangeville Flyers.  Off to the finals to face, who else, but the Barrie Colts.  What a championship game!!  The boys skated hard, passed the puck well and shutout Barrie for three periods and a five minute overtime.  In the end, the game was decided with a nail biting shoot out with the win going to Barrie.  Congratulations to the team for their amazing hard work over six well played games.

The regular season starts this week versus Bradford on Sept 21st
