Submitted By Webmaster on Wednesday, October 4, 2017
This past weekend the Minor Atom AA team went on a road trip to Ottawa for the Inaugural Capital Blues hockey Fest.

The team came out firing on all cylinders going undefeated in the round robin. Winning three games ( 6-1 vs Cumberland Grads.... W6-3 vs Leitrim Hawks..... W6-3 vs Gloucester Orleans Blues). That stellar record put them in the final four and in the semi-finals against the Kanata Blaze. This young bunch of Tornados played some great hockey but game up a little short dropping the semi-final game 3 to 1.

All in all a good weekend in the capital.

Congrats to the players, coaches and parents.
