TNT Silver Stick Update
On Nov-10 to 12 TNT hosted an expanded Silver Stick tournament with much success. All five ice pads that are available to TNT were put to use for most of the three days. A special thanks to the group of mostly volunteers that helped make this an extra special event.

Novice AE- The youngest of our teams to enter went 1-1-1 in the round robin. That was good enough for them to make it into the championship round. They faced the Caledon Hawks in the semis and took them down 3-2, handing Caledon their first loss of the tourney. That put TNT up against the Whitby Wildcats in the final...TNT fought hard but fell short losing 4 to 2.

Atom AE- Had solid showing in the round robin also going 1-1-1. They had the second best GF% in the Atom group however they were one point shy of making the semis. Never-the-less a strong showing for this young group of Tornados.

Peewee AE- This team is firing on all cylinders this season. They are first overall in the York-Simcoe league and undefeated to date...that didn't change in the Silver Stick tourney. They went undefeated in the round robin allowing only 2 goals in those three games. On to the semis where they dispatched the Colts 6-0. In the finals they faced the Milton Winterhawks and defeated them 3-0, their third shutout of the tourney. They finished with a stellar .846 GF%.

Minor Atom AA- Another one of our teams that went 1-1-1 in the round robin. They beat the Colts in the Semi’s 4 to 2 and beat the Mississauga Jets 3-2 in the final.

Minor Peewee AA- Had a tough go but did get a win in the round robin finishing 1 and 2. There is always next year boys!!

Minor Bantam AA- It was an 8 team division for Minor Bantam AA which split them off into two divisions. After a slow start in their first two games they put it all on the line in their last game against The West Mall Lightning but fell one goal short losing 1-0.

Congrats to all the teams that played in yet another very successful Silver Stick Tournament.
