TNT Representitive Playdown Summary
All our rep teams and how they are doing this season in the playdowns.

Tyke MD—their first series was in the YSMHL against the Richmond Hill Stars who finished first over all. We fell in three tough games to them which means we move to the consolation round. Tyke MD is waiting to see who they play next, either Barrie 2, Whitby or Newmarket.

Novice AA—these kids have been on a roll since the first puck drop of the season. They finished first over all in their division going 19-4-5. First up in the preliminary OMHA series was the Stouffville Clippers. The Tornados stood tall and took them down in three straight with 18 goals for and 4 goals against.

Novice AE—just like their comrades in AA these guys have also dominated this season finishing first overall with a stellar record of 23-3-3. First up were the Newmarket Redmen in the OMHA prelims …we kept on rolling, winning the series in 3 straight. They will face the Clippers in the OMHA quarters who they haven’t lost to all season (4-0-1).

Minor Atom AA—another strong team here who faced Newmarket in the prelims of the OMHA. It wasn’t easy though as they won all three games by one goal. Up next are the Markham Waxers, game one is Feb-11, 4pm at the NTRC.

Minor Atom AE—well here is our first nail biter. It’s an OMHA prelim series against the Stouffville Clippers. We were rolling, taking the first 2 games but the Clippers have battled hard and won the last two games. That means a stressful game 5 on Feb-9th, 7:30pm in Tottenham, I know where I’ll be!! Good luck team!!

Atom AA—our team has the chance to win this series on Feb-12 as they are up 2 games to 1 against the Clippers. These two teams played 4 times in the regular season, each team winning twice, seeing that there will be a game 4 is no surprise.

Atom AE—this was a very tough division this year. Our guys finished with a 21-4-3 record which put them in third at the end of the regular season. They played a home-at-home round robin with Georgina and Stouffville…that’s 4 games…and 4 wins for our boys. The defense and goalies were hot for this team, only 2 goals against in those four games.

Minor Peewee AA—In a YSMHL preliminary series with Richmond Hill. Two games have been played and they are tied at a game each. Game 3 is in Richmond Hill on Feb-10. Our team has had a tough go this season, nothing like opening up the playoffs with a win.

Minor Peewee AE—Our team finished the regular season in second place with a solid 17-8-3 record. They played Georgina in the OMHA prelims and took them down in three straight games. Up next is the Colts from Barrie, the Colts played us hard this season taking all four games…but the playoffs are a different matter!!! GO TNT GO!!!

Peewee AA—after taking game one of their OMHA series against the Colts we lost the next three which puts us in the York Simcoe’s. The next series will be a round robin with two other teams.

Peewee AE—another team that has been hot since the start of the season. They only lost once in the regular season finishing 25-1-2. Their OMHA preliminary series was a rare best of 7. No matter, our team took four straight games which included 3 shutouts! They are waiting to see who their next opponent is, either Whitby or Belleville, get ready to drive.

Minor Bantam AA—In a best of 5 series with Georgina. The series is tied at a game each with game 3 on Sunday in Georgina and game 4 on the 13th at 7:00pm at the NTRC.

Minor Bantam A—in a tough series against Newmarket. We are down by two games but game 3 is at home on the 12th, 6:30pm at the NTRC…after that game we will only be down by 1 game!

Minor Bantam MD—this team is a new addition to our league. They fell to the Brampton 45s Gold team in three games. On to the consolation round where they are waiting for a RR to finish, looks like they will face either EG or Caledon.

Bantam AA—finished fifth in this division and only 4 points from going to the OMHA’s. The next round looks to be a round robin. They are still waiting to see who they will play but it looks like Barrie and Stouffville or Richmond Hill.

Bantam A—Currently in a YS round robin, we are 0-2-1. The tie was against Newmarket…TNT was down 4 -2 with a minute left we pulled the goalie, we scored with 34 seconds left to make the score 4 to 3…with the clock at 3.3 seconds and our goalie on the bench we scored the tying goal with .1 seconds on the clock!! What a game.

Minor Midget AA—finishing the season at 4-19-5 they finished in 7th place and played Stouffville in their first round. It was over in three games with the good guys coming out on top. They will play a round robin against Barrie or Newmarket and Aurora or Georgina.

Minor Midget MD—in a round robin with Barrie and Brampton Gold. We have lost both games to Barrie but have a win against Brampton. One game left to play on the 11th, 5:00pm NTRC.

Midget AA—first round was a best of three against Markham in the OMHA’s, we won that in two games. Next up is Newmarket in a best of five, we took the first game and Newmarket the second. Game 3 is in Newmarket on Feb-9 at 9:00pm.

Midget A—this strongly coached team with talented players has been rocking and rolling all season long. They took the opening round series against Newmarket in 2 games.  They are now in a best of 5 against Innisfil and lead that series 2 games to none. They will play either Orillia or Ajax next.
