division saw the Juggernaut Tornado’s take on the hottest team since Christmas
break, the Newmarket Redmen.
Who would win the title in the OMHA’s most difficult
territory?
The first game in this epic battle saw our young stars dominate the score sheet. When the final buzzer sounded, the home team Twisters won 4-1 to take the all-important series lead.
Game two of the series saw our stars travel to Ray Twinney in search of the Winnie. After a seesaw battle, and an empty net penalty shot goal, our young phenoms took a commanding 2-0 series lead. Make the final 3-1 TNT.
Game three the boys were gracious hosts. Our boys thought it would be nice to let the visitors have a 2-0 lead. Then as quick as they giveth, our superstars taketh away. 2-1 Redman after two. Early in the third on a beauty short hander and BAM! Game tied. Two minutes later our team got another, 3-2. Then 4-2 and finally another monster goal to make the final 5-3 for the good guys. Great work team. You are a pleasure to watch. Good luck versus Whitby in the lakeshore final. WHAT A TEAM!
