TNT Bantam A. Champions of the North!!
Submitted By Webmaster on Tuesday, September 25, 2018
This past weekend TNT's Bantam A team traveled to North Bay for the Early Bird tournament.

The team was eager and ready to play. They faced West Ferris in the first game taking them down 4-1. Game number 2 was against the Nippising Vipers, the young Tornados prevailed again winning 9-0! Game three was a little tougher against the Huntsville Otters ending in a tie. At the end of the round robin TNT was in first place.

After winning the semi-final game they faced the Otters again for the championship.

The game broke down like this;
- 1st Period, Gavin scores the first goal. Huntsville pressed hard and scored 2 goals to take the lead. Aiden and Kyle scored by the end of the frame putting TNT up 3-2.
- 2nd Period, both teams were pressing hard but only Rory was able to figure out the Huntsville goalie, scoring to give TNT a 4-2 lead going into the third.
- 3rd Period, Huntsville netted a goal to make it 4 to 3. Even though the TNT defense was short handed the players remained determined and worked hard as a team to come away with the win!!

The whole team played well including both goalies Christopher and Garryn.
