TNT Midget AA Upsets The Top Seeded Team
Submitted By Webmaster on Wednesday, January 29, 2020
In a short best of three series against the Markham Waxers, TNT took the series in 3 tough games.

The Waxers finished the regular season in stellar form with a record of 18-3-3, definitely the team to beat in the division. TNT finished almost with the exact opposite record going 3-17-4.

Game one went to the Waxers 4-0. TNT took game 2 at home 3 to 1.

On to game 3 in Markham. The Waxers were up 1-0 for a good part of the game. TNT scored the tying goal with 4:39 left in the third. Both teams fought hard to end the game in regulation time, that didn't happen. On to overtime. The battle ensued and at 6:40 left in the extra frame Jacob netted the winning goal!!
Nothing more exciting than when the underdogs win, I guess that's why they play the games, eh?

Congratulations to TNT Midget AA on a great series and continuing on to the OMHA prelims, probably against Aurora. Good luck to the Waxers on the rest of their playoff run.
