TNT Local League Update

Here is the status of our Local League teams.

Peewee 1- Was knocked out of the Simcoe Region Group 3 opening round. Now in the consolation round against Georgina 1 and Georgina 2.

Peewee 2- Finished second in the Simcoe Region Group 3 opening round. They are in the semis now against Nobleking 2. These teams faced each other once in the regular season with TNT getting the win.

Bantam 1- Took down Thornton 1 in four games in the opening round. Now facing Beeton 1 and EG2 in the semis. The top two teams will face each other for the Group 2 championship.

Bantam 2- Faced a tough team from Beeton in the opening round of the Group 2 playoffs. Will now face Georgina 2 and Thornton 1 in the Consolation Round.

Minor Midget 1- Played in three hard fought games against EG1 in the opening round. Game three was a thriller but our team lost by only one goal. In the consolation round we will face Beeton and Richmond Hill.

Midget 1- Finished the regular season with a respectable 11-11-4 record. The opening round of the group 2 playoffs saw them take down EG3 in three straight games. Next round is against Nobleking 2. They played each other only once in the regular season with the good guys coming away with the W.

Midget 2- This team is still in the opening round of the playoffs. In a good series against Georgina 2 with TNT up 2 games to none. Game three is tonight (Feb-18) at the NTRC, 8:30pm.
