IMPORTANT TNT MINOR HOCKEY REGISTRATION UPDATE
Hello TNT Minor Hockey Families,

Hockey Canada and its Member Partners are working diligently on a Return-to-Hockey plan based on direction from provincial and territorial governments and public health authorities. As provinces and territories begin phased reopening in the wake of COVID-19, Hockey Canada has provided resources and information to keep players, parents, coaches, officials and volunteers updated.

These resources can be found on the Hockey Canada website: https://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/home, the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) website: https://www.ohf.on.ca/risk-management/return-to-hockey-covid-19-response and the OMHA website: https://www.omha.net/ Please be sure to read these documents to stay informed.

As provinces and territories phase in a plan to reopen, there are questions about when hockey will return, and how it will look when it does. We don’t know when we will start and we only know that hockey will look different when it does. The plan includes health and safety regulations, seasonal structure, communications, and new policies that relate to our current situation.

Online pre-registration is now open. We are not permitted to accept payment at this time. Once we have direction on the season structure, we will be permitted to accept payment. The dollar amounts you see in the registration program are for a “best case scenario” of a September start date. Please note, WE DO NOT KNOW when the season will start, and registration fees will be adjusted if necessary. When you check out, it will give you “Other” as the payment option, please continue to register as we will collect payment at another time.

The health and safety of everyone involved in the game will determine when we return. When our province is ready, TNT Minor Hockey will be ready. Until then, continue to follow the guidelines set out by the Government of Ontario and the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Wadge, Administrator/Registrar via email at [email protected] as our office remains closed.

Sincerely,
Donna Horan TNT Minor Hockey President
