TNT Minor Hockey COVID-19 Update
As we have seen in the past week COVID does not discriminate in who it affects, and large associations are not immune to sudden closure. Whether you agree with the measures put in place or not, we ask for your patience and cooperation as we navigate this season with the goal to protect our community and players.
We must adhere to not only to our Town facility rules, but the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, Government of Ontario, Hockey Canada, OHF and the OMHA.

Our asks

·        We are very pleased with the success of our first few weeks, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. It has been so great to see the smiles on the kids faces at the arena.

·        Safety guidelines will continue to evolve, and our coaches, conveners and board members will be sure to keep you informed.

·        We understand life is busy, but we ask that you make all efforts to ensure your players are ready to enter the arena 15 minutes in advance of their scheduled time as arriving late causes delays for players and coaches. We must take these measures to ensure all those in the facility have completed the COVID assessment and can be traced in compliance with health and safety regulations and make it easier for our partners in facility staff.

·        Only ONE parent/guardian attend the arena with the player.  The Government has put capacity limits on the number of people that can be in the facility at time.

·        Please adhere to all COVID safety measures put in place by the association and government bodies. Arguing with volunteers from TNT Minor Hockey or staff from facilities pertaining to these rules does not help the situation. Questions and suggestions are always welcome, verbal abuse will not be tolerated.

·        Please use the utmost due diligence and caution to protect others. If you or your child are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID, please stay home and complete the  self assessment found here: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/

Your support and actions going forward will ultimately determine the success for this hockey season and keeping our players and coaches safe will continue to be our priority moving forward. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
