Congratulations to the U10AA team on winning the TNT Tornados Winter Tournament this weekend.
The team finished the round robin with the 1st seed in group A with a 4 - 0 record. With a hard fought 4 - 0 win against a very strong Orangeville team, the team earned a spot in the finals. The final game was a nail biter with Copper Cliff taking the lead with 7 minutes left in the third period. At no point did the players, coaching staff or fans think that the Tornados were down and out. With 3 minutes left, the Tornados tied it up 2- 2 taking the game to overtime.
Not wanting to drag things out, the Tornados scored 39 seconds into overtime, earning themselves their first tournament title.
