Both ice pads at NTRC temporarily closed.
Per the Town of New Tecumseth's media release that was issued tonight, "Technical issues with the compressor that is used to maintain the ice of both indoor pads at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre have impacted the ice conditions. As a result, ice programming will be temporarily paused effective Tuesday, February 7, 2023, and, while the exact duration of the ice closure is not certain, we anticipate at minimum 2 weeks".
This will definitely impact our programming but we are not sure to what extent at this point. Please have patience and we will post more information as we receive it.
