Congratulations to our U10AA team for their Silverstick win this past weekend in Georgina.
The team started the tournament with a tough loss but were able to battle through and still finish 2nd in their division. A tight semi-final game against North Toronto found them headed to overtime. They played 5 on 5, 4 on 4 and then finally while playing 3 on 3, they were able to claim their spots in the finals.
Like any good story, they ended up facing Upper York in the finals, the team that beat them in the robin. After three hard fought periods, they claimed their first regional Silverstick Championship with a 3 -1 win.
The team will compete in the Silverstick finals in January. Good luck boys! Congratulations to all players and coaches!
